Turning the corner back from lengthy conversation with Professor Wilde about smart retorts during a lesson, he saw Catorina, her beautiful face marred with tears. Coming up to her, perhaps a little distraught, he cast her a concerned look, his arm curling up protectively around her. “Cat, are you alright?”
Cat didn’t even have to look up to know who was in front of her. As soon as he sat down next to her, Catorina turned her body, wrapping her arms tightly around Cam’s waist, crying into his chest. She tried to breathe so that she could talk, but at the moment, she couldn’t do anything but shake and sob. Her arms tightened around him again, and she briefly wondered if she was hurting him in anyway and tried to focus on the rise and fall of his chest, trying once again to stop her sobs. Her body was still shaking, though she wasn’t aware of it as she buried her head into her boyfriend’s chest. ”I lost her Cam. My best friend…she’s gone.” It took everything in her not to start crying all over again, but a few tears managed to fight their way through her slowly growing composure and slid down her cheeks.
It was odd, feeling her body cling onto his so tightly, so desperately, so helplessly. She was drowning in herself. He held her closer, leadning down to rest his chin on her head not knowing what to say, not knowing how to make her stop crying. She didn’t deserve to cry. He pulled back after he heard her words, muffled as they buried themselves into his robes, his face twisted in confusion. “Nat? Clarissa?… are they alright?” His voice raised uncomfortably, not knowing how to deal with things emotionally; he just didn’t want to see her cry.
Catorina walked down the corridors, practically running to get away from that horrible place. Her tears that covered her vision since she left, causing her trip over her own feet on multiple occasions. Reaching out a hand to steady herself for the hundredth time, she couldn’t move anymore. Her emotions took over and sobs racked her body, unconsciously sliding down the wall she held only moments before, her arms wrapping around her body as if it was the only thing holding her together. The pain that conversation with Clarissa brought her…it was too much. She lost her best friend, and she had no idea if she was getting her back.

Didn’t think so.
-kisses him on the lips- How are exams going?
Charms and DADA were a breeze. I may have to study a bit harder for this Potions exam tomorrow.
-pouts- and as much as I hate to say it, Cat, you’re a huge bit of a distraction.
Breezing through DADA and Charms exams are easy. ‘M not too sure about Potions. May actually have to study for this one.
Cat’s gonna be a cheerleader?
